Description...
Animals of the Night SLEEP during the day so when the zoo first opens, it's "early evening" for these guys. The lights are still on and you will have a few early stirrers that you can actually SEE. But around 10am, it becomes nighttime for them so the lights are out and they all start moving but then it is harder to see them.
Why I enjoyed this activity...
This is also the time when the zoo keepers are adding food, water and doing general cleanup for the animals. Sometimes you get to see the animals interacting with the keepers.
